Playing in trafficPlaying in traffic   
They're all in such a hurry.  Metal boxes that must be maintained  Shells that protect them against the outside world and speed them on their way.  Why so fast?  Is point B really that much better?  Is point B going anywhere?  Ghandi walked everywhere and look what he accomplished.  
Do you really think getting there sooner will make it better?  Still, when I stand in the middle of the road they swerve to avoid me.  They're in such a hurry and slow their journey just to get slightly further away from me.  Am I really that awful?  The blood smears will look Playing in traffic

Ash looks like snow  
if you're far enough away,  Mistaken for white joy  
when it's just dead and grey.  Snow is a creation,  
ash is something destroyed  Now of little value, merit or point.  Consumed. Used up. Spat out again  Or melted in flight,  
reborn as rain.  Snow dissolves on the ground  
and it's beauty fades  Ash grows in power  
with each lung it invades.

Yikes it's been a long time since I put anything on here! I must confess I totally forgot I even had a DA account for a while (Please don’t hate me!)

Anyway, there wouldn’t have been much point in coming back on a daily basis because I haven’t had anything to post. My newest attempt at a novel is chugging away, and actually getting somewhere, which is nice! No idea whether it’ll end up getting anywhere, but I suppose we have to have faith, no? I’ll search through for

Anyway. Having given up smoking this morning the stress of work is driving me CRAZY! Violent outbursts are likely! Lunchtime needs to hurry up and get here – as does going home and reading time – and certain people need to learn NOT to leave conversations hanging and dramatic moments. It makes for great TV, it makes for a shitty day L
